From 1978. I replaced the whole movement as it is abundant and the old movement was corroded by the battery.

Alba ORVITAX 15504 for me today after 5 minutes of picking up and putting down watches of much higher pedigree. Weird how the daily choice gets made sometimes...

Tied to the desk today, so this is overkill (when isn't it, unless I were diving into the abyss). But it's raining outside (OK, sprinkling) so I'm prepared.
russtmurray - that one is great - I really should get one of their watches.
inboost - I've not seen that one before - looks cool and purposeful at the same time.

yeah, i really am curious, what activity or measurement is that bezel made to abet? very intriquing.

There is something amiss today.
You would think it was Friday the 13th, not the 23rd.
There was minimal traffic on the freeway, the duck hunter was here early, #2's son walked 200 feet to over here on time . . . .
Everyone must be somewhere staging for the full moon later today.
Don't let the lume shot fool you on this one: it's not that good. The say the camera adds 10 lumens.

victor and peterr, this one is pretty interesting. It's based on a Seiko V732-0T60 and there are a few flavors of it too. What really drew me to it was the cool machining of the bezel and the crown along with it's half-height 'tuna' shroud (see below). The detraction of course is the integrated band with only an 'A' and 'B' micro adjustment. Thankfully this one was complete with all links and removing one was all it took to get it to sit well on my wrist.
There is an excellent write-up HERE by Brigalow that will help you understand the model range and feature (along with it's goofy name )
One of the features I really like about this model is the red tipped minute hand and it's mating red marker on the one-way rotating bezel. I'm not so thrilled with the odd-ball time markings (I think they just wanted to be different) but it's a standard diver's bezel all the same.
Glad I could show you something intriguing today
