Well I do not use this one to often but decide to use it for a few hour in the house while I am home today for a while.
Got this from a Women that her Grandfather was on ..... Admiral Byrds Antarctic Expedition in 1955.
     They clean out his old Home after he passed but the watch was in a box with the note of where he used it and
his .... Son verified it to me with a email but no one wanted it so she had it ..... On The Bay.
 I inquired and bout it when she said ........ " Well I don't want it's just .... A Old Watch and ... It Is Not Working now ".
 The watch cost me about ... 9 years ago.... $25.00 + $2.50    USD .... shipping when postal was cheap.
I said to myself ....This is Man History and got it serviced and looking good again.
The Original Strap was rotted off and broken so he had it on a...... Very Rare to find .... Custom GLENN Hair Puller Type  Bracelet.
Movement is the very hard to find ... ETA. 1256

Oh ..... The Broken Watch :

You have to shake it for it to work...... .

But I found a extra Movement for the price of ...... $18.00 USD Working so
I serviced it and stashed it away for keeps.

That's just terrific Louis. So nice to have it seeing the light of day. Classic good looks and it's reemergence is timely in that the Nivada brand has also been brought back to life.
