A contest companion to victor - as I incorrectly guessed the number of not in the parking lot blurry cars.
Seiko 'White-On' H711-0A10 Titanium sporting a brand new crystal. I had to settle for the white font instead of the original red font, but honestly I like it much better this way now that I see it assembled!
Even with the new scratch free crystal the LCD overlay is ridiculously illegible in almost all conditions. The user interface is counter-intuitive making it that much harder to use. No wonder these didn't stick around.
Cheers to victor for always keeping me on my toes

I love these, there was one going for a bargain on thebay, he said the lcd display was barely visible, I thought this was pretty normal from what I’d heard about them but when I bought it he messaged saying he did a battery change and the display no longer worked. Gutted! On the lookout for one. The white font is definitely a winner imo

I started my day with my Paddle, too lazy to choose another one this morning, anyway I had no plans other than to tinker with an SKX009J taken from my "to do" box. I kept it to go for a bike ride with TinkerSon and finally started with the SKX009 in the late afternoon. Well, after a bit tweaking, this SKX009J isn't bad at all, it has a recent 7S26C movement, certainly replaced by a previous owner. The case was really dirty, and the crystal completely scratched. I took some time to get all case parts really clean. It got a new crystal and a new gasket set. And after a 7 bar waterproof test, I have another one for this evening. It will keep the original insert, even if a bit faded. Like the last SKX007J, I don't know what I'll do with this one. Keep it as a spare SKX009J ? Sell it to pay the next toy ?

longbike I was wondering when we were going to see some food pictures from your table. I love it!
TinkeringFR - what a great result, that SKX009J looks amazing! As for the Citizen paddle hands, I now have a 51-2273 one on it's way to me so we can be paddle brothers

That's pretty amazing - I didn't even know that replacement crystals were available. Was it a straight drop-in replace, or were there any special requirements to hook it up. I assumed that there was some kind of special LCD on the inside of the crystal.
There's also a blue version of this watch - the one I've seen was a little older than yours. The display on that one was much easier to read.
OK - looks like I need to really search Y.jp to find something that stumps you - will keep trying.
