Hot off the press, it's a Tokeilab willard with the shortest wheelbase i've ever seen on such a watch ( i'd call the wheelbase center-of-springbar to center-of-springbar, this one measures 38.7mm, very nimble.) More orthodox dimensions are 42.6mm x 43.9mm x 11.9mm ( with slim caseback and bezel.) This aftermarket case has been carved, many other parts OEM. i'm loving it. unsure about the hands, the lume appears to be pinkish, i guess they were 011 hands, but they'll do for now.)

A handful of my LCDs proclaimed today the 1st of March while much older tech got the date right. I picked up one of them and proceeded to make the change, then put it back down again because of course I'd have to fix it again tomorrow Meanwhile, In Search Of.... zeros with a Citizen 2007 UFO reissue 8200S042984 HSB

Wow, some great watches today!
For leap year, the Perpetual Calendar. Assuming I set it correctly, a while back, it should tick over to the 1st tomorrow. We will see.
What's that in the background?
A buzzard. Actually several are up there, but couldn't get a pic of the others. Still too cool for them to soar yet, so they're just hanging out. Big ole birds - like five or six times as large as a crow.

Out of curiosity, did you set the calendar on your digitals to match the leap year roation (for example 2024 would be 1996) or is it just they don't have the leap year "coded" into them?

The 1980s LCDs seemed to be the major class of leap ignorance (Casio and Seiko). The 1970s LCD / LEDs did have the 0/1/2/3 leap year setting made the adjustment as expected. As you mention some of the watches won't allow current calendar year to be entered (Like Seiko RC-1000) so they are set for 1996 which was also a leap year so I don't think this is the issue. I'll take a better accounting of it and post that up tonight or tomorrow!
SteveX that sure is a great looking dial!
