I'll back the blue! Finally after several repair efforts this Chaika 3050 Resonator is on the wrist. It's a pretty coarsely constructed beast inside, but what a beautiful dial and case execution for the first quartz watch produced by the Soviets back in 1978. Excuse the rain on the crystal, natural light was needed to really show this one off and we've got some weather passing through these next few days.
And here it is in slow motion, the sweep hand has the 'school clock' bounce to it due to the loose mesh between the stepper and the second wheel of the train.
The Bulova Accutron Quartz TZ which has the same power plant (to be worn tomorrow) is much more crisp in it's ticks. Honestly I prefer the Chaika!

Teal here. Also out of the new box. It arrived with a sibling too. Teal first appears in the 85-1 catalogue, and the full lume watch first appears in the 86-1 catalogue.
I really like these. Mercedes hands are a bit overdone, but with the indices used seem to work. I've already found a black dial that's on the way. Need to find blue and orange...
Tapatalk App not working here either!
Added photos through browser. Not great, but better than nothing!
