Well, it should have still been my black Monster but the bracelet fail necessitated a change. Before I go there, these are the watches I took to Colorado for our son's wedding: This one for the tux (I know you're not supposed to wear a watch with a tux but the black chrome struck me as formal enough): This one for the rehearsal dinner since a diver would be too casual: So when I got home, I switched to the Blumo for a couple of weeks:

I love these! Just got one a couple of days ago. I've actually just recently started down this rabbit hole. A friend asked me to see if I could get his C220 Aqualand running but it had been put away with batteries in it and was corroded beyond repair...as were the other two I've gotten as possible donors since then Shout out to Craig at the factory authorized service center in TX, though--he offered one he had on hand as a donor (also nonviable in the end), then offered 50% any new Citizen as a consolation prize, so now I have a tough choice to make. Eyeing this guy but taking suggestions!

CARAVELLE is some sub brand of Bulova, right? That's right! Very cool tempelkim You know how much I like a watch with a story
Check it out, three yellows in a row, far-out man! Today for me is also a 'Whats in the mail' arrival as of last night. The Alba Alarm Chronograph Y950-505A is packed with handy features like a nearly useless pulsations and tachymeter track (the sweeper is not tied to a chrono), friction diving bezel that will probably stay put, an ana-digi display including a searchable monthly calendar still up to date here in 2024 all presented in unreadable micro-print! It's dated 2D so I'm thinking either 1992 or 2002 December manufacture? Love these goofy quartzes--gotta be early 90s, right? It seems like that's the era for the Y950. tempelkim - ABC = Accutron, Bulova, and Caravelle!
