Found this with some ,,,, Loose Parts In A Zip Lock

Found this with some loose parts in a little Zip lock Bag in a box here.

   I think it's .... A Russian Watch according to a website I found yesterday and it says ...... 1950's ... ??
So I said I'll service it so it won't go to waste. Little one maybe ... Size of ..... A Seiko Matic.
 Nice Beautiful Dial too and ..... Dial reads ....... ZIMM   with a ...... 5 Point Shield On it.
Lug's are .....18mm  ,  Little Red Sweep Hand looks good too.
Movement Reads........ ZIMM  CAC/\AHO   CCCP 
Movement is keeping very good time.

Any one know what it is exactly and do you collect them.

It's an old Pobeda Zim. Watch doesn't actually read "Pobeda" on it, but please see the discussion links for clarification.

Dial reads from top to bottom:

Zim (stylized 3NM)
15 jewels (КАМНЕЙ)
Made in USSR (Сделано в СССР)

Movement reads:

Zim (3NM)
15 jewels (КАМНЕЙ)

I'm not a huge fan of Soviet/Russian watch aestethics, but I'm often surprised how accurate they can be, even with age and no service. Maybe it's just because they have seen so little use (ones that have passed my hand have been in very good condition).

Collecting and understanding them is also a world of its own, like one can already see from those two watch u seek discussions.

It's a world where mass production dictated.

Hi Louis,
Like trilo said this is Zim also called Pobeda (victory) or Moskva (Moscow). Movement is 2608 based on 2602 (some parts are interchangeable). There were several factories in USSR that made movements with same classification but different design. 2608 - 26mm movement, 08 - central seconds hand. 2602 - 26 mm movement, 02 - seconds hand to the side. It's not very collectable, they made millions of them in different variations. But not difficult to work on 'em, they're based on swiss movements (I think). Here are my Zim's with 2602 movement dedicated to 1980 Olympic games in Moscow.

Being a watch I thought to get it cleaned and going and it keep good time also. but no use for it so it just
goes on the shelf I guess with some others.
