So I have a TT DJ with blue dial that was handed down to me. TT is flashy as phuk...especially with the jubilee bracelet. I put on a black faux gator strap with white stitching but I'd like to dress it down a bit more. Saw these examples on IG...what do you guys think? I really like the rough look of the leather as opposed to a smooth type. Any other suggestions?

The rough texture is not working for me, but I think the color is good for a blue dial.
MAybe something padded if you are looking for something more casual or sporty?

Definitely too rustic. I would suggest something like this tobacco coloured buffalo tectured strap... There are enough reds in the darker brown to perfectly compliment the cream in your dial chinathumbsup.gif

Thick padded is the only way to go with a vintage DJ on a strap. Eliminating the 'gap' is essential to my eye. There's a guy making SS and TT DJ end links for use with a strap for about $100 over on another Forum. PM me if you need the info.

Do you have a picture of the actual watch?
With a blue dial you would almost be forced to wear in on a SS bracelet.

Try formfunctionform.com/product/button-stud-watchband/Check out the Blue Ink Cavalier and Blue Suede colors, they would look pretty good in my opinion. $48 and they ship from Orlando. Also the football suede is pretty cool too. If you order two the second one is 25% off. You can pick the color of the button as well (SS, Gold or Black)

I for one find the rustic look just 'wrong' for top end Swiss Watches, the Rolex Datejust as a prime example. Like flat paint on a Rolls Royce !
