Why would you make a watch that has 666 feet Proof, also announce it's dust proof The "has aluminium indicators" is also strange. The seller claims it's from 1966 and i have no way of confirming that, but, am happy to accept the claim the style is from the late 1960's and i do like the cream lume!

A lot of watches from that era add the claims of being "Shock Resistant" and "Dust Proof". I've had quite a few watches come through my hands with similar case backs. The "Aluminum Indicator" claim is supposed to be a plus. Aluminum used to be considered a premium material, very modern. All in all a nice Timex to have in your collection, congrats

Looks legit.
Not sure where the aluminum is on that one.
Timex made a few aluminum cased watches in the 1960 / 1970s.
Most of the ones you find now have a lug broken off.

Most of the ones you find now have a lug broken off. To my eye the aluminum is on the bezel "indicators".
