Well yesterday actually and I'm happy to say she has now joined the collection. I present my latest acquisition ...
I sent a quick photo to a certain friend of mine who's only reply was "Bastard" , but I think deep down he's happy for me. While she has a good amount of wabi , the movement is clean and running great so how can I complain? I love when these come in out of the wild. Thanks for looking.

Looks like it might be a large crown cutout (but maybe not) but small spline crown.
I'd say 1977-1979 as well if I had to bet on it.

markers are toned from side to side. Not just the lume, but the paint underneath. I've only seen that in dials of this condition in the '77 timeframe.

I could be wrong, all I have is the evidence I've seen personally, but whenever I've seen patina'd / yellowed lume AND markers, it's been on a '77 watch. I just saw one, an NOS dial from January '77. Same thing.
