Really like the second one the best. First is also nice but I'm not a fan of the orange hand.

SKX007 Silver SOXA ... dial, domed sapphire, insert, hands, & relume, all by Dagaz, also has Murphy bezel & display back ... 6309 Blue SOXA ... dial, hands & insert from Dagaz, domed sapphire from Yobokies, chapter ring, my own creation, relume by IWW ... 6309-7548 Hybrid Black SOXA ... dial Dagaz, crystal Yobokies, MM300 hands. Now at IWW for service of 7548 movement, pressure test, change of hands as MM300 hour hand has some brassing, and a relume. Never bonded with this yellow SOXA, so it has gone on to a new home ...

I guess it would be this one... I would love to find a setup like this that will fit a 6309 cushion case.

Nice mods Ross. I thought it interesting that you let the yellow one go because I have a similar one that may be on the verge as well. Even more curious is the fact that you, I and Frank Mahovolich share the same birthday! Scary.....

Since they are mods to emulate a DOXA, just put an "S" for Seiko (SOXA)

Beautiful! I almost pulled the trigger on a Sub 1200T Sharkhunter a few weeks ago. Here's the closest to a SOXA that I have...

Right, without a shadow of a doubt I need to know where you got that dial, bezel insert & hand combo please. If you could PM me a link to each I would owe you BIG TIME mate.

I like to keep my mods Seiko dialed, so I put this one together a while back. [/URL]

The great thing about these and other mods is that it remains an evolutionary process. Great fun and at times, a tad expensive!

I like to keep my mods Seiko dialed, so I put this one together a while back. I love this mod. Really cool colour. Fuuny you should mention about keeping them Seiko dialed. I was thinking the same thing the other day and while it mat not mean much to us in the WIS community, others just might look at our mods as nothing more than a novelty watch.

I like to keep the seiko name on the dial so that no one can say it is a fake Doxa or planet ocean or whatever i make a mod resemble. They are just Seikos inspired by these other watches.
