No, this shouldn't be in the Blue Room, I'm talking about the feathered variety. I'm not a serious ornithologist, and don't feel the need to record every bird I see, but I love to see, hear and if possible photograph them. I don't have the best camera in the world, but I'm quite happy with some of the results. Unfortunately I've never seen a Hummingbird. Here's some from my early morning walks. Yellowhammer Yellowhammer that walked along beside me, and got within a couple of feet. Wren singing it's little head off Whitethroat Baby long tailed tit. Chaffinch Greater Spotted Woodpeckerer Linnet Finally two regular vistors to my shop from a couple of years ago. Both now sadly departed. Bobby Robin: And Billy Blackbird:

What's with all the tits and peckers? My back yard is a bird haven and I seldom have the camera handy when these littl bundles of feathers decide I'm ok and come right up to me with no fear.
