I have an original Sea-Gull Dragon King Diver watch with the full magilla; boxes, manuals, registration card and credit card style limited issue number. I bought it new from Kevin at US Sea-Gull and I requested #42(you know, the meaning of life, the universe and everything); sort of makes it unique for anyone who is a fan of the 'Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy' books and tv series. Anyway, as much as I love this watch, I just don't wear it as much as I want to, so I want to trade it out for a very good condition SKX173 to fill out my 6309-729x, 7002-700x, 7s26-002x series. these watches have a dial that speaks to me. Here are pics of the Dragon King... Ok, the DK is powered by the Sea-Gull ST2130 movement. This is an ETA 2824-2 style clone. It beats at 28,800bph and during the time Ive had it has kept respectable time. By that I mean I haven't worn it long enough for a proper time evaluation, so I can't guarantee it meets or exceeds COSC standards. The watch measures between 43 and 44 mm wide yet seems to work fine on a sub 7" wrist. It also sits flat on the wrist and is less cumbersome than teh vintage Seiko divers when worn with cuffed shirts. Yes, I know I would be trading down in terms of movements and overall value but I would like this watch to go to someone who will wear it and who will also trade for an SKX173 that I know I will wear the heck out of. If you have a neglected SKX173 in great condition that you would like to swap for this wonderful Dragon King Diver, don't hesitate to PM me.
