In October of last year I was in N. Carolina working. With my new found fondness for vintage Seiko diver I was scouring the Craigslist ads and found this one. Here is what I posted about it. Post I saw this and figured I could buy it for cheap and sell it so I would have money for another vintage diver. Not happening this watch is awesome, every time I wear it I like it more and more. I'm considering sending it off to Spencer so his case restoration guy can completely restore the case and bracelet then have Spencer do a relume and new crystal and of course complete service. This one will be with my 6309-7049 and me for good.

Stephen, This is a fantastic watch. I don't blame you for not wanting to part with it. I have one , but nowhere in as good condition as what you have.

It's a fantastic watch, a great model. I had one not as nice, and had another lined up that was close to that nice. I sold the first to buy the second, and the deal fell through. No Yachtman in this house. Very sad.
Love that thing!

Mine has had "all the above" before I bought it from Spencer. I don't recall the whole story but Shawn somehow acquired the watch but decided not to deal with it. I guess he sold it to Spencer who did the whole restoration and then offered to sell it to me. Sadly, it didn't come with an original bracelet so I put it on a Modello rally. Will post a pic when I get home. Here it is:
