Thanks Russ, here's a better link (yours leads back to here) www.pmwf.com/Phorum/read.php?4,539714 Reto was a friend of mine and was planning on visiting me soon with his wife and daughter as they had planned for her to go to college relatively close to me. My heart really goes out to Reya as this is just a horrible thing to deal with.

Holy crap! He was always very welcoming, very supportive. Reto was one of three gentlemen who created the biggest and best watch forums on the Internet. He will be missed. I wonder who will take up the leadership of PMWF now?

The admin team is currently rallying around to figure out what we can do. Some of us ( not me - I only knew him 4 years) have known Reto from the beginning. It's a truly shocking end to someone we all valued as a friend.

It's a truly shocking end to someone we all valued as a friend. I didn't know Reto personally; only through PMWF. I first 'met' him around 2005 when I joined the original PMWF. I used to spend hours scouring his watches for sale pages. There was a wealth of info there. Hopefully the admin group can come up with a plan to carry on Reto's legacy.

I wonder who will take up the leadership of PMWF now? When I first got into watches again, he was the first person to truly welcome me and encourage me to post. He always made a point to say hi and reach out whenever I'd go back to PMWF. I liked going there, just never got used to the odd format of the site.

This is horrible news. I hope the daughter is getting the support she needs. Can you imagine dealing with the violent death of both of your parents at age 14?

I only knew Mr. Castellazzi by his reputation, but his passing is another serious blow to the world watch community. May he and his wife rest in peace. Looks like 2014 is continuing to be a rough year for this hobby...
