I'm going to buy a bracelet for my SKX173....can't decide between a Jubilee or an Oyster.
I've always liked the Oyster bracelets....but the Jubilee in this case looks pretty classic....so I'm stuck.
What say you?

I have a couple jubilee's, and they're a bit rattly. They do look good with the case, but it's hard to beat a super oyster.

Since I don't mind a noisy bracelet, I would go for the Jubilee since it is more classic looking with this watch.

There are different versions of the jubilee. If you be sure you get the right one, they are great. The one you want will be marked 44G1-ZZ on the endpiece.
The lesser versions are sold out of SE Asia. While still genuine, they are quite a bit flimsier than the 44G1.

Both look good on SKX's. The jubilee on a Pepsi is particularly a great combo, IMO, but for your watch I would go oyster if I had to choose one.

I've been a bit of a purest of late, so I voted for the Jubilee. The Seiko President is nice, too, but it's hard to come by these days. Myles

Another nice option, hunt down a Z199.

They're both great but I'd go for the Jubilee. I've owned all types and the Jubilee is the most comfortable. It has to do with the way the links are able to twist and conform to the shape of the wrist.

Don't like Jubilee on anything. Somehow says 'dentist' to me, and this activates pain centers in my brain.

I personally think divers belong on Oysters. The Jubilee to me is really more of a dress watch bracelet.
I have Seiko jubilees and Oysters and Rolex Super Jubilee (hidden Crown Clasp, all solid) and Rolex Oyster. The Jubliee is far more comfortable.
That said, maybe the most comfortable bracelet I've ever worn is an old, beat-to-crap Beads of Rice, no name brand.

Oyster is my preference. Links hold up better to wear. Also, if center links are satin finished, takes the bumps of normal use more uniformly.
