It's a shame I have to remove the bracelet but I really need it for that other Navigator I brought so I can sell my old Navigator for good money. I have however seen that type of bracelet used on a cheaper model of Seiko. I should have brought them when I saw them come up on ebay but let them pass and I think they only made £35-40. The watch would get half of that back I would have thought. I'll keep my eyes open for another correct type bracelet

I'm sure we'll be able to find something.

Wow, Tony...that would be amazing! I wonder if we can scare up a proper bracelet? A bracelet with one of those sliding clasps so nobody would have to remove or add links would be just the ticket. The links in those could be engraved as well. With a judicious vetting of the host list; this one could make it around the world and avoid the Bermuda triangle that has swallowed so many world travelers before.

We are a pretty small community here, I think we could pull it off.

When you've decided on the watch, perhaps put up a sticky on the main page inviting volunteers to sign up as hosts for a couple of weeks at a time. I you limit the list to a dozen or so, even with shipping times, everybody will have a turn and the watch would return home within a year.

Wow, Tony...that would be amazing! I wonder if we can scare up a proper bracelet? I think on TOF that every one who took possession of the watch put it on their own strap. Not that everyone is qualified to pull off a strap change and not everyone wants to wear it on a NATO strap but . . .
