Remembered I had a Z199 in the drawer. On it went.

Got this on today as I've just sorted it using my new Timegrapher thing and I'm just making sure everything is ok for the new owner. Man it looks terrible in that photo but the lights running out as summer leaves yet again Real nice untouched watch in reality with a super bright T dial.

Tooling around with my homebrew 8-bit computer tonight, so I slipped on the Moonraker to keep the retro electronics vibe strong (may or may not be listening to Kraftwerk as well...). Haven't worn this in a couple of months - completely forgot the joy of putting on a watch after that long and having the day, date and time all be exactly correct. I have my suspicions that this may be a very early example of this model; the Digital Watch Library says they were released in 1979, but the caseback serial code for mine starts with "8D", for December 1978.

6105-8000 today: I prefer these to the iconic 8110 model made famous by Holywood! Love the bracelet on that one makes it into a snazzy evening wear watch.

Last day for one of my favorites: At some point, probably after coshing my bank manager over the head and making off with some money, I will own one of these!

Yeah, was at a wedding yesterday (Sat). French cuffs a big change from my usual t-shirt and flip-flops.
