OK.....just received this....7A28-7049 in pretty nice shape....for a nice price too. Problem #1 - The bracelet is just barely too small for me...so I bought one of those "bracelet extenders" off of Ebay....I see how it's supposed to work....but I will be damned if I can get it on the bracelet. For the record....although I poke fun at myself for my lack of watch skills...I am not helpless when it comes to tasks like these. So....I decide to try one of the many straps/bands I own as a secondary measure.....which leads: Problem #2 - None of the leather straps I have will fit it the watch. Even a NATO is too thick to fit between the case and the springbars. I do already have one of these watches and currently have it on a Sinn leather strap...but I would like to go for a different look and am currently unable to. So...I basically have a watch that I like....but I can't wear it as is. BTW....the watch has a little history to it as it was ,evidently, a gift to a gentleman...his name is inscribed on the bracelet links. Anyway....here's the watch:

Did you other one come on the bracelet? If so, you could borrow a link from there? Not sure if that's a tough one to find links for, but I think I'd hold out until I did. Just keep it, no harm in having a spare you cannot yet wear.

Well at least your problem is only with the band and not the movement or something serious.

Nice watch! Do you have a photo of the extender? I hope you got a good deal, because you're going to be paying a lawyer top-dollar when you change your name to Ricardo Flores. Myles

Nice watch! If you're having problems with fitting something thick maybe you should consider putting it on a 2-pc NATO: IMHO, it would look great on the watch given it's 'military' appeal.

Great looking watch! That inscription seems to be on the other side of the wrist so if i had that, it wouldn't bother me at all By the way, what's the lugs on that? I'm waiting for one from a watchmaker and i have a H357 that i love the bracelet. He's still deciding whether to fix it or sell it as parts watch. It's got a clean movement but missing the crown and has sticky pushers. I did tell him i'll get it if he finds an original crown and clean the watch. Pretty beat up but it's not common to see them around anymore. John Attachments:

Here's the H357 bracelet. Sorry about the double post, tapatalk seems to only allow 1 attachment per post. John Attachments:

This is a possibility I didn't consider. It might work as long as the strap isn't too thick. Of course I'll have to buy one since I don't have a 20mm 2-piece Nato. Geesh....more money to spend.

Great watches, just great. Pity the bracelets are often such a PITA to deal with in terms of extra links etc.
I've never had any luck with extenders. They always seem to be the wrong size, even if they're supposed to be the right size.

I'd really like to add one of these, to my collection some day. I know now, how much of a pain the links are to find. So I'll be sure not to buy one, that doesn't have the proper size bracelet.

I was going to buy that watch. Was a good price! Nice condition too! The strap/bracelet extenders are crapola. As stated they do not fit unless.... unless you made a cutout! I'll have to take a photo of the one on my speedtimer bracelet tomorrow. It sorts out the problem of the extender not fitting under the original clasp. it's just a pain to do! As for the engraving it's what put me off the watch but I didn't realise it was on the strap and nicely done. I thought it was like most engraving where someone had used a 5lb hammer and a chisel otherwise I would have brought that watch no problemo I would not worry about the name it is part of the watches history and as I said nicely done. Just change your name to Ricardo!

I've owned four, sold three, still own one I can't ever get rid of, not that I would.
Wish I'd kept all of them.

Congrats Ricardo! That one is in REALLY nice shape. Good luck with the bracelet as they look SO much better on the original bracelet. If you do stumble on any links, LMK as I could sure use one and would be willing to pay a fair price to acquire one.
