So we need to locate a bracelet, as well as a strap option, for the Wrist Sushi World Timer. An original bracelet would be awesome, anyone know which bracelet(s) it came with originally? The strap, will be for the folks who don't want to mess with resizing the bracelet, or have larger wrists. What do you think we should go with? Your ideas/input are greatly appreciated.

Put it on a 2 piece nato.

I might have some options. Fully adjustable straps both metal and nato. Don't think the nato will suit it though as I looked at it earlier and thought nah. Will take some photos when I get the chance but the easily adjustable option someone suggested seems a good plan.

Put it on a 2 piece nato. Not sure it would look right on a NATO, IMO. Does anyone know what these came on originally?

There is very likely a Seiko catalog picture in the TOF archives showing this watch and possible variations. I guess you just need to know the year of the watch and catalog to have a look.

Maybe a Seiko mesh (like 6106 DX) not the prettiest but the clasp slides on the mesh so it would be easy to adjust to any wrist.

Ah yes, I guess original isn't an option. I can only hope there are other bracelets out there, that will look good.

Just FYI ....I'm going to be heading out to Jonathan's place later this week to make a few purchases and continue sorting through things. There is literally a shit ton of old original Seiko bracelets in boxes and bags. If someone here can post a photo of the bracelet needed for the Wrist Sushi world traveler 6117 I would be more than happy to search for one while I'm sorting through things.

Ya know what I would kill for? A 6117-8000 bracelet like this one:

Apparently, it's the one on the bottom in this pic. But anything original that fits, would be a huge bonus.

Most hosts won't care so long as they can wear it for a couple of days. The watch is what matters and it's adventures; not whether it is dressed appropriately for each individual visit. Let Tony find that adjustable bracelet and let's get this puppy sailing BTW...we still need an officail Wrist Sushi moniker for this world traveler. I submit the name Wasabi Wanderer.

Proper is best, IMO. If we can find something nice for it, why not?

The world time sushi watch is a 6117-6400 aka this actual watch: Where as the 6217 used a beads of rice type bracelet like my 6117-6019 World Time I think:

The 6217 world time uses the bracelet I pictured Tony, I've never seen a catalogue photo of one on a BOR.

How about an OMSB..."Old Man Stretchy Band"! They were really popular in the 60s and 70s when this World Time was made, and will fit everyone!

Mines a 6117 not a 6217 on the BOR bracelet. Anyhoodles a easy to adjust bracelet would be best I reckon as some of you guys have gorilla wrists!
