To the best of my knowledge, Seiko never sold them with a bracelet. I was under the impression that they always came with a rubber strap.

I don't think Spencer took control of any inventory, per se, I believe he just took over the access/distribution of the crystals.

Best wishes, Myles I simply meant I'll go along with the fact that he (Spencer) acquired the crystal aspect of the business but there was SO much more! It just seems a bit odd that he didnt also acquire the other parts as well! Maybe I'm wrong..........who knows!?

I know he's a gentleman, so he may be waiting a while before talking business with Jonathan's still-grieving survivors. Also, Jonathan acquired his stockpile of parts a little at a time, often times buying out retiring watchmakers' inventories, etc. To buy out all of Jonathan's stock all at once would probably be rather expensive. Myles I'm not asking Spencer anything as we do NOT get along at all! He will eventually see the post and reply should he decide to do so!

I have tried a couple of times and am willing to let bygones be bygones but the "other" party seems to want to have nothing of the sort! I'm not going to start all over with the story and will just leave it as is or else Tim will remove the posts or ban me!

You don't need to insert it into posts here and you certainly didn't need to start a thread on TOF about it. Yeh, that thread got locked pretty quickly...there is a message in that.

Now if i remember correctly and i may be wrong (the last time was Feb 1976) the end links can be a pain to get on and off, seem to remember something to do with the solid end links..mmmmm

Now if i remember correctly and i may be wrong (the last time was Feb 1976) the end links can be a pain to get on and off, seem to remember something to do with the solid end links..mmmmm The solid links don't always fit, and the slots that are milled (or possibly cast) in them to allow access to the spring bar ends are pretty narrow. However, you can't go wrong with a set of Swedefreak's folded end links. I have both types, and I've also modified a 20-mm Super Oyster by removing and rearranging the non-removable links so that the bracelet is now 19-mm wide where it meets the end link. However, my 6105-8119 is on a Will Jean reproduction 99.999% of the time. I think, on a bracelet, there's just too much steel going on. Myles
