Looks good.
I'm sure he'll like it.
If you didn't send him any after pics he should make a video of the unveiling like they do on those home renovation shows.

Looks great. Keeping it original as far as the parts go is a good thing relume in some cases is just fine when done properly.

Nice Spencer! I'm having a bash at reluming too. Good fun but needs ultimate care as you can't hide the dial if things go wrong Pleased with the end results but my photography skills suck monkey balls! Bit of experimenting is needed before anyone starts this themselves. Get some knackered old dials to practice on. I used the Pogue dials for watches I have killed learning to service the movements as my practice dials. Now I have nice looking watches that don't tick but the dials all look nice.... great... I'm sure there are already reviews on how to do this yourself but worth asking anyone who wants to try it as we've made all the mistakes already so pointless ruining any dials yourself. Just ask Sorry didn't mean to hijack or anything of the sort Spencer.

I really like the faded inner ring on that one, adds a nice touch IMO.

I really like the faded inner ring on that one, adds a nice touch IMO. This is one of those where all the toning matches nicely. It works well as a package. I've never really warmed to the blue dial with a faded ring, the grey just doesn't do it for me. But the yellow / ivory / white ring can look quite nice, I agree.
