Stop that Russ, lol! I spend enough on watches without you showing how COOL some of the Micro-brands are!!! Sweet by the way
Me? I'm wearing my "Ole-Faithfull" 6309, yes AM dial/insert but she's watertight & has done over 40 meters dozens of times & never let me down
That's my Oceanis Shadow mask, my favourite mask. Fits my fat face & "clears" on a snort!

I am a sucker for black and white watches. Easy to read. And the logo at DF logo at 7 O'clock is a neat touch like the 8 on Michelle brand watches.
Back in the early 2000's a watchmaker named David McCready came out with his own brand and dial designs and made a limited and numbered edition of each one. Some watches were 30, some were 100, but I think the most of any was 300. I remember seeing the Mount Palomar Coral Clay Chronometer in an issue of WatchTime and had to have one but all I could afford was the Precision Automatic at the time. Luckily I found one used but ended up never wearing it so I sold it along with the other 2 D.Freemont watches I had also picked up secondhand.
Later on he was also the US distributor of Davosa watches and upon further investigation I have come to the conclusion that Davosa was making the watches for him (no harm no foul) as the cases were the same and some of the dials were almost identical which sort of cheapened up the "exclusivity" of the D.Freemont watches in my mind. He does seem to have a cult following and there are more than a few people who have a few of them.

I've got a Davosa pocket watch with a 6497 in it sitting around somewhere and I can't find a pic of the D.Freemont Semi Skeleton watch I used to have.

I have tried for years to buy it from him but he just wont let go of it altho he has admitted that he rarely wears it! I used to have the Mid-size version which I VERY stupidly sold! This was mine......practically mint!!

Besides, the larger version would be too big, for his puny wrists.
