I had been trying to figure out how they managed to park those cars between the water and the concrete wall for a few days until I realized the wall was probably on the balcony and not at street level   |

It does look like that doesn't it?! The wall is part of Level 3 (parking garage) and I took the photo from Level 6.

Yes the WSWT is on it's way to Australia now but I still have some photos to show... ...to continue with more food and booze with the WSWT! A Friday BBQ with friends...On our way to a friends flat for a good night of fun. Lost in this urban jungle in Kennedy Town somewhere on the west side of HK island...  His residence is somewhere down there... we think...  My friends and I finally find the place and we start the BBQ. Sorry not too many pics as I was having too much fun but here's proof!   I made sure the WSWT had a good time... more to come... |

A Ping Pong BAR?! So me and the colleagues go out for some cocktails after some intense brain drain exercises at work (an excuse to drink and be merry). One guy says he's been to this bar which used to be a championship table tennis facility so many decades ago. Interesting! We took a cab to I don't know where exactly but we still had to walk a block to look for the address and this is what we first saw. A red door that didn't really resemble anything close to a 'happening' place...  There was this small (10-seater) restaurant beside it. According to one local colleague the door sign says something like "Ping Pong Sports Facility, Equipment Available inside" or something similar...  We open the door and we're immediately greeted by 2 flights of stairs... I find this weird but at the bottom...  ...we're greeted by BOOBIES!!!  Ok not real boobies but nice photos nonetheless. The place is huge inside with a high ceiling (not so typical of HK bars). That's not a kid by the way, that's a petite waitress.  Very cozy...   The place is known as a 'Gintoneria' and had a good selection of Gin and Spanish tapas...      There was a great band playing cool jazzed up Beatles favorites. Upright bass, piano and some great singing...  By the time we were about to leave, the whole place was packed!  Ok so I realize I forgot to take pics of the WSWT but hey... at least this post had BOOBIES

Took a couple of days but have made it through the thread.
I must say....absolutely fan-freaking-tastic.
Thank you to all who have taken the time and energy to take pictures and document these travels. Makes readers not only jealous, but enables us to feel like we are a part of something bigger and enables us to gaze at the wonderment of places in the world we have never been.

I'm not sure of the protocol here, but I'd be happy to host the world traveller in Hobart (far end of the country from Martog) while it's in Australia. Assuming I'm considered a member in good standing, how do I nominate to get on the list?
