Great tour Funkster. Thank you for showing us around. I haven't been to the UK for 15 years, but I'll be drooling into those shop windows if I ever return.

A great little pub... It would be a shame not to show you inside! Pint Silly Metric system. Wait. We still use pint here as well (but mostly everything comes in a 12 oz can or bottle) unless you are OG Triple OG then it comes in a 40oz bottle The only Metric system round these parts are the drug dealers (unless you sell weed that is still Kings English)

Don't forget, Josh, the UK pint is roughly 1.2 US pints.

What's an English pint then? 570ml? US pint is 470. Aussie pint is 590 unless you live in South Australia, where it's 440. Crazy.

The Imperial pint is 568.261 ml, according to a conversion program I use, and the US pint is 473.1765. When and why the US pint (and thus quart and gallon) were changed I have no idea.

I hope that the World Traveler has lived up to its name during the period of my stewardship. Having recently completed a tour of France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Italy and Slovenia, I can now say that the watch is definitely more travelled! It can now rightfully claim the title of 'Submariner' pictured here 50m below the sea bed of the English Channel on the a Eurotunnel:

And back down in the Apple Orchards All in all it was a fantastic trip - about 2500km by road in 2 weeks - fantastic landscapes, great food and a wonderful family holiday. A good time now to wish the WT farewell and on to its next adventure... thanks Tony and Tim for the opportunity to take this extra travel companion! miles

Look what found it's way back to the States... Double dipping the system? Just don't go trading it for some smokes in an Italian prison

I picture Italian prisons to be espresso filled, red wine and wonderfull home cooked meals...hard time is when they take away your Vespa privileges and limit you lunch break to 3 hours. Rob

Rob That might not be so bad, the perfect way to extend ones vacation.
