And TrafalgarSqure Damn, Miles...you're getting around today. Do you work around that area, or off today? HA! Check out the guy in the blue shirt, he's wondering what the heck you're taking a pic of.

I knew I would end up looking like a wally taking pictures of my wrist all around town, but you soon adjust to the stares!
I I had a few hours spare today as was up in town shopping so decided to incorporate a few sights for the benefit of the Wrist Sushi community!
I have loads more to post from today and looking forward to taking the WT further afield shortly.

Next stop was The Lamb and Flag in Covent Garden - a favourite watering hole of Charles Dickens and famous for its bare knuckle fights in days gone by! A great little pub... It would be a shame not to show you inside!

Covent Garden And a quick stop at the G Shock Store... No matter how many times you come to London, you always see things you were not expecting...

Do you mean that crowd? London is packed full of tourists in August and this lot had travelled half way round the world... To watch this guy prancing about with his shirt off! Not sure if it counts as 'Street Theatre' but he was pretty amusing!

Did you see that!!!! 70% off at the G-shock store.... Yeah, but I think I got there a bit late! The shelves were 70% empty! I went to some proper watch shops later on in the day... but you'll have to wait for that instalment!

I knew you'd do a lot better job of this than I ever could Miles! Super photos I'm always stuck in my workshop or sitting in a motorbikes sidecar which doesn't make for exciting photos.

I always enjoying seeing those European "farms" where the lot line is a tree line. All you see over here is barbed wire on metal posts or pink ribbons with "No Hunting" signs. A lot of those field boundaries are 1000's of years old That's why when they make huge Viking or Saxon hoard discoveries they tend to be on the edge of those fields tree lines. Those ones in the photo are no doubt much older than the Boston tea party. Some might well be as old as Stonehenge. Amazing really.

The WSWT has been on my wrist most days since it arrived and its lost about two minutes in the last week so could do with some further regulation since its recent service. I could do this but as its not my watch I'm reluctant to open the case. Besides, it will probably be coming to the end of its journey soon and back in Tony's hands. Its not a watch I've ever considered buying as I'm almost exclusively a diver watch guy, but I have enjoyed wearing it. The case is a decent size and very comfortable and I do like a white dialed watch. My only criticisms are the the hands are not the most legible; I prefer black painted hands on a white dial rather than silver, and the crystal sits very high with no bezel to protect the edges. I imagine it wouldn't take long for a door frame to take a bite. Other than that its a very nice piece and in remarkable condition considering the age of it. Many thanks to Tony for offering it up to the forum The forecast here is grim for tomorrow but better on Sunday so hopefully I'll get the chance to get out and about again and take some more pictures. Cheers, Dave The watch was out of my personal collection hence why it's so clean. It came to me via the original owners family To be straight with you the time keeping sounds fine to me. I always set them to gain a little as when they settle down and the oil works it's magic on the mainspring the time can alter slightly. So I set them to gain about 10 seconds a day. Normally as the power increases the watch will slow down as the balance is swinging harder and taking longer between impulses. This is obviously in tip top condition as it sounds like it's gaining what it was when it left my hands.

Cheers Tony, and thanks for the opportunity! I am really enjoying the chance to show an inanimate object around town!

Some more shots from my Window Shopping with the WT in Burlington Arcade, just off Piccadilly there are a few great watch shops here, but this one takes some beating for sheer volume! And quality! If I ever win the lottery: Further down there is a shop which specialises in vintage Omega's And another in these Stealth Rolex which I must admit are kind of cool...
