Aloha ,
In doing these Aqualand watch I have found out what might be their problems
and have been separating this information for them. I started to get these and
then got hung up because I did not know anything about them. Now I do a little
more so I can help along with what I have found out. I am doing these because
I like them, but if I can do them then I can benefit others also. There is no
difficulty to learn these I have found out, one just has to be very careful with them
when they are taken apart that's what I have found out.
There are some delicate parts that can not be seen when beginning to dis-assemble them.
The plastic plates that hold the movement and the Dial are the areas for very special care to
be taken.
Example :
(Click on the picture ), and look at it and in the almost very middle of it
you will see that there are (Two Tiny Plastic Studs), next to each other.
This plate I have removed the movement already as shown here.
Well at first dis-assembly they are not seen, and they are very brittle too and
when the ( Two Halves are separated... "They break off the plate "). This is a very
vital part that if broken the whole plate becomes use-less to use. It is hidden at
first sight and one can not see it when stripping them down.
Next is the Crown locking assembly for the ( Stem), that is also very fragile.
Note: If looking at the assembly at first then finding out what comes off first then it becomes easy to do.
If you need some help with it let me know and I will try to help where I can to where I
have gotten so far on them. I have done a lot now , and the only problem I have is
finding the working Circuit Boards or some one that knows more about them.
The rest is very easy to do.
If needed you can contact me by ..... P/M ... and I will go from there to help if I can give you my
email address if needed for information if wanted.
All I ask is that my email be not abused please........... longbiker1@yahoo.com .
And I know this Forum will not do that, and I am satisfied with that.
This way I can send more pictures of complete information if needed too.
Thank you very much for your time and hope I can help in some way of what I have so far.
Aloha ....... LongBike
