I have just acquired a 6105-8119. Here's a sellers photo because I know you all love photos: Here's my question: Am I correct in understanding that these use fat spring bars? If so, are there other 19mm lug width models that also use fat spring bars? Where could I buy these spring bars?

They use the "fat" bars, but they will be a tight squeeze in the replica waffle straps. I purchased some 19-mm "fat" bars from eBay seller twente(o) a while ago. I can send you a few spring bars if you like. The spring bars in the photo are Rolex-style, meant for watches with drilled lugs. As they have no flanges or shoulders, they will be difficult to remove. I recommend using a Klein spring bar tool to remove them. Myles

I managed to get the old ones out with my fingernails and have ordered new ones which are making their way here from Australia. Do these same spring bars work for the 6105-8000 and the 6217-8001?

You should definitely get one of those now that you have the spring bars for it. Myles

One thing I have noticed about FAT spring bars is that they wont go thru quite a few of the S/S bracelets obviously because of the thickness.
