His prices are fair and he's honest. I have bought some of his "swamp watches" for parts and have always been pleasantly surprised.

The caseback alone would be worth the purchase price!

Fantastic find!!! I love when people are able to get something like this that most people would throw out and either bring them back to life or are able to use them in another project.

I've been meaning to ask this....and please pardon my ignorance...but who the heck is Ramon? Ramon was / is the only legit / honest source of Seiko parts watches. Been shopping with him since 2002. I once emailed him to see what he had that wasn't one Ebay and bought a pile of 30 watches. I scored a 6119 with 62MAS hands a couple of 5309's which I sold to cover the cost of the whole lot. He was also the first seller on Ebay to offer AM 6309 dials, hands, bezel inserts, and the first 4 Scubapro repro dials that I wish I wouldn;t have sold mine but I wore it too much and it was hogging wrist time away from the rest of my watches Why do we hurt /sell the ones we love?

I've been meaning to ask this....and please pardon my ignorance...but who the heck is Ramon? VERY good question - I've been meaning to ask that very question too! I just picked up two 7002-700x watches from him. Both listed as "will run and stop", but they both had bezels with slightly beaten up inserts, but also nice complete cases with stems and crowns that screw down. Once they arrive (paid for this morning) I'll try to give you a summary of what arrives and its condition. Dan

I've been meaning to ask this....and please pardon my ignorance...but who the heck is Ramon? Its no ignorance but a worthy question asked, and you might find that out some day. 7dfe79adc2f0
trendy, when you find out who Ramon is you will then have to sit down and if you drink ....... " Sit down and destroy a whole case " watching his website . Ramon is the proprietor of a unique store way over in .... " The Philippine Islands " , like many others there. And he has some of the greatest deals one could have a times. And The Man is Top Shape and truly honest.

Great score on that one 7dfe79adc2f0 I've been buying from Ramon since 2005 when I bought this... It took several years before I actually restored it but this is how it turned out... All it really needed was a proper crown/stem and a service(it was running even though described as WILL NOT RUN).

RE: Ramon as "Ramon was / is the only legit / honest source of Seiko parts watches."
Yes he is good & he does seem quite competent to be your "suki" [regular, long-term vendor]. But, depending on what kinds of parts you want, there are other sellers out there from the RP [Republika ng Pilipinas]:
I do know of sellers such as mountapo_merchant from whom I buy some complete watches [mainly Swiss & US-cased Swiss], but I know she also sells parts as well quite regularly. Since I'm not a consumer of parts, I've not checked them out, so won't give recommendations [probably depends on which kinds of parts you're wanting anyway]. Not sure about parts watches though, usually I just see parts from her.
I'm just suggesting you cast a wider net when looking around in the R. P. on eBay, etc. There could well be others around who can do the job well for you. Best not to automatically discount them... you may just find they have a part for you that Ramon doesn't have at the time.
I also now see someone called ako_nato selling some interesting parts [dials...] - could be a good source too if someone needs what he/she(?) is selling.
I take a similar approach to buying complete watches... I have my small group of favorites [suki, i.e. vendors], but I do still keep my eyes open to other vendors as they might just have that 1 rare / hard-to-find vintage piece that I want for my collection & my "favorites" haven't been able to come up with it. Obviously, you need to check them out carefully before buying, but then - that's sort of a given in the hobby if you're going to be successful, di ba?? [isn't that so??]
