Lugs are 18mm apart The nylon strap it comes with is aweful. Very flimsy. What do you guys suggest?

I would look into a Maratac Mil Series strap. It looks similar to the one one the watch now but is significantly better quality and nowhere near as floppy. I have several and they are what most of the watches I wear have on them.

I have a nice fern green NATO that would look good with that watch your welcome too. Its just sitting in a draw doing nothing. Not sure if it is 18mm but I am sure with a squeeze it can be if its not in the first place.
Also worth point out that a nice set of branded vernier calipers can be had off ebay for less than a tenner! Those things would scare Peter Cushing!

I have a set with an analog dial and another set that isn't all that different from the OP's 7dfe79adc2f0 Oc course I still have a slide rule around somewhere too

Thats very kind of you  Was actually talking to mum about you and your business. She's got an antique grandfather clock she wants to bring over from Italy that hasn't worked in years. Plans are in the embryonic stages at present. HEY! I rescued that caliper from dads garage. It was siezed and rusted to hell. Was gonna buy the one from lidl a week ago but the 3 near me all ran out.

Not sure if there are any UK sellers. I just reply on the help of our American members; they buy the straps we want then forward them to us. This gets around the US sellers not wanting to deal with us and if done right avoids Customs and all that stuff. Maybe one of our American friends here will step up and help you out

Shhhhh! They're everywhere. Don't understand why that brand isn't over here. Maybe they think too many other brands are already here so no point.

My only beef with some of the Japanese watches is their smaller lug size. Of course I can go into a store here in Japan and find 18mm etc but the choice of style is poor. I bought 5 Mil straps years ago and then they stopped shipping overseas. I had emailed Bob the site owner and he was nice enough to sell them to me in Japan.
