A few months ago I looked at having the Citizen Speedy serviced well I went and did it, it is with Brian Leiser chronoman he has a full range of parts and is a master watchmaker. He has rebuilt many of the 8110a movements, I sent the watch in for a movement service and after see'ing the pictures of it pulled down was very happy I did, what a mess.
It should be ready in a couple of weeks now and when it returns I will post the before and after shots of the watch and also the movement before and after shots.
Cheers Mark.

It's great that you have a master technician locally and one with access to parts. Not all of us can make that claim. Look forward to the finished project; the 8110a is a beauty to behold when the case back is off!
