I had been looking around for Type I crystals for two of my 6105's but as we all know finding NOS is both difficult and expensive. Fortunately for me Spencer has recently restocked on the original Swedefreak/Jonathan after market crystals (hopefully I am allowed to place a shameless plug here for excellent crystals and service from Spencer and Sabrina?) and so I ordered a couple and they are now installed. 1968 6105-8000 I think that the crystal brings this watch closer to its original specification and with the addition of a new repro waffle strap the project is completed. 1972 6105-8110 I am not sure if the Type I crystal would have been fitted to a 1972 watch, but I prefer the look of the high top crystal anyway! I know that many feel that the Type I high top crystal is a chip magnet but I am prepared to risk that just for the look of them! Mark

I gotta stop looking at pics of 6105s. I need one in my collection but they're just too darn expensive.
Those are two really primo looking pieces. Congrats!

Hey, awesome!
These Type I's are flying out the door, they're the best sellers we've got. They do great stuff for a 6105.

Love those 6105-8000s. Got to get myself one at some point while they are still around at reasonable prices!

I'm not sure what "type" of 6105 domed crystal I have on my 6306 but I got it from Pete AKA Crawfish way way back in the day when he was selling them before Randall Benson did. I thought I had a better picture of the "gap" between the bevel and the bezel but that must have been on a different computer.

Thanks for the kind words gents....I am certainly very pleased with the crystals. Here are a couple of 6309's (one a TST) with 6105 crystals installed.
