Okay, help me out please, what is wrong with this one? :-)

Hell folks,


I have been watching this one for a while, it has been listed a few times, and it looks good to my uneducated eyes, but no one has jumped on it, so I figure there must be something wrong! :-D


Is it over-polished? The third picture shows some gouges in the back with smooth edges, which makes me think it was well-polished, but (to me) the edges of case still look pretty sharp.


Any advice?

Meanwhile, what can you tell us about the seller?

Heavily polished. Looks like it's been through an agate tumbler - all those rounded edges are supposed to be sharp.

Medallion should look like this:



+ a stained dial.  Still a pretty watch.

That was my thought, but I don't know enough about them to comment.

I am with you folks, way over-polished.
 
Looking at some other King Seikos, I can see now all the little bumps on the medallion are gone. Like compared to this one:

Nice adjustment screw at 5:30 on the case so you can regulate it without pulling the guts. It's an open thru glass style waterproof design.

Huh! I thought maybe that was the helium release!
