I'm looking forward to this one to replace the one I sold, assuming I had a replacement lined up. I didn't, as it turns out. Anyway, just picked this up as non-working. Clearly original if I'm any judge. And like Aaron says, short hands on a Yachtman, something I used to say didn't happen. 6138-0011 "Resist", March 1971 Glad to see someone I know won the auction. Wondered what the high bidders max was. Just a hair over $200.

... When I asked what the salespuke told him that model was called originally he said a "Seiko chronograph' and didn't know anything about the name Yachtman. He remembers seeing nothing to do with Yachts near the watch so I'm going to call mine a UFO ..,. Well, the Japanese collectors ended up calling them: Big Eye, Small Eye (or Big/Small Eye for short) due to the unequally sized round sub-dials (accumulators). That's what I've always called this model since finding them on the Japanese sites.
