This must be one of the nicest Manhattans I have had in a while which is why I am putting it here before it goes for a swim in the great Ebay
The case and crystal are unpolished and in really great condition, all the edges sharp and no scratches - The caseback imprint is protected by a plastic sticker and seem to be pristine too. The only -ve is that the case has a dent on one corner, I have brought this out clearly in the photos.
The crystal gasket is, as is usual with these watches, missing but seems to have been removed before it turned to gloop and ruined the dial. The dial is as close to blemish-free as is possible, day wheel is the desirable 'long day' model in English.
Movement is just back from a full service, the 4th wheel needed replacing, this has been done with an original part. It's in excellent condition and keeping good time, day and date both quickset, winding stem has been replaced with a new one. The crown is a replacement and not original.
I don't have an original bracelet for this watch so I have put it on a nice oyster style 20mm bracelet with a deployant clasp. Should fit an 8" wrist or so.
So .. in summary ..
