I know gold watches are frequently frowned on by some here.....maybe even myself to a certain degree....depends on the watch.
But let's see your offerings that are gold.....or what you would like to own gold-wise.

Inherited this from my late grandfather. I also got a bulova locked up at the bank, also from him, which is way too 'blingy' for my taste but i feel drawn to it this past few weeks. Attachments:

There was a time when I would never own a S/S watch and Gold/GF were the only ones I would buy! Today I wouldnt touch one with a 10' pole. Here are the only two Gold ones I own......... My G/mothers pocket watch and my Dads dress watch from the 50s..

I'm bummed to hear that SGP doesn't actually have any gold. Oh well...I still love my 6138-8020. And I all but forgot my beloved C80 Wingman!

I believe these days the "Gold Coloured" coating is Titanium Nitride, which you can easily coat onto stainless steel. Older pieces usually have a brass case, which was then plated onto. Which is why they look so crap, the brass oxidises, then bubbles, and eats the case from the inside, then the piece looks like garbage.

I used the bezel and I had him select the best pushers and crown from between your donor and my original. NOS crystal that Jonathan Koch somehow managed to locate in his shadowy underworld of contacts and relume (although the amount of lume the hands and indices hold is so tiny as to be close to pointless). I do love having it in wearable shape with the pushers operational and the date properly set. The calendar only goes up to like 2003 or something so every year I have to set it to a matching year to the current one to get all the dates properly aligned.

Just a few here: 7A28 Grandpa's 18K Gold Yard pocket watch (not working) Bulova Accutron (not working) The middle one was one of my Dad's. Not my favorite but it's kind of nice in a dressy sort of way:

I hate "gold" watches because 99.99999999% of them are not real gold. The only gold watch I have worn more than a few times that was not real gold is a Bulova that was one fo the first 2 watches I ever bought on Ebay going back to 2000. If only I had never heard of Ebay I would have been retired by 30 I did wear my 14K Seiko a few times but it was just to small at 33mm. I had a gold cap (which is much more durable than the current gold plated) Chronometer but it was just too much gold.

I hate "gold" watches because 99.99999999% of them are not real gold. So.... Your "silver" watches. What percent of those are made of real silver...?

If you know a case maker I have enough silver for them to work with. I am game for the worlds first silver cased 6309 to go with the rest of my "worlds first" MOD's
