I know some of you guys are box junkies, I got this yesterday with another piece. It's a wooden box with "leather print" stuck on it. Inside is some polyester satin.

I do remember a very similar box was used with the early "electronic" quarts watches late 1960 early 1970.

I got it with a 6139-7100, Not sure if it's the original, but what I do know is that I have other pieces from the same time frame in a similar, albeit smaller box, as they are women's pieces. They are red though instead of brown on the faux leather Any idea what watch came with it?

I have a similar box. I've been wondering what watch came in it. I believe it's from the late 60's. That's definitely an upper value model, the White and the blue writing was used on boxes for Female boxes and also world timers/Bellmatic's etc. The sportsmatic often had black and red writing.

I've seen those boxes with mainly 6139-xxxx NOS watches. One went through similar earlier this year on a NOS 6139-6000 proof dial watch in Brazil. I've also seen some of the higher end Seiko dress watches with that type of box but not wit that finish.
