Accurist Depthmeter Chronograph 20ATM 3u62 Calibre (Citizen?) Model #? Lug width? Does it have a sapphire glass? If so can scratches be polished out?

First.....Google is your friend, don't fear it......there's an abundance of info right at your finger tips.
On that note, after a 5 minute net inquiry I found the following info pertaining to your watch.
Accurist watch co was based in the UK they mainly built timepieces from parts purchased from other manufacturers/suppliers.
In regard to your watch, the case is most likely from citizen, the 3u62 movement is manufactured by Miyota (citizen supplier)
Your watch was in production in the late 1990's......I would think 1997-1998 based on what I've read.
The lug with on most of the citizen dive watches from that era were 20mm, I'm assuming it's going to be the same for your case.
The crystal is made from mineral crystal and I'm sure that any watchmaker could pop the old one out to size up for a replacement. You can polish mineral crystal, but the process is long and not cost effective. a new crystal can be sourced cheaply.

Thanks. If I can source a replacement crystal I can do it myself. I'll wait until it gets here before ordering a strap. Not getting an Isofrane (only paid £17 for the watch) but an N.D. Bonetti Cinturini will be more than adequate. Found an instruction manual dated 15th May 1984 that looks to be the correct one for the movement.

Ok, so this arrived today. As expected, needs new crystal and battery (only one I dont have spare) What I didn't expect was it is missing the case ring gasket. On this one the inner moulded back containing the depthmeter is held in place and sealed by a ring. Time to get a battery and see if it actually runs first before spending money on crystal and gasket.

Got my loupe out after finding a battery. Looks like some idiot got it wet with no gasket in place. Closer look with my smartphone microscope. Doesn't work with a new battery, unless it needs a reset like I've seen on some movements.

Just noticed it's missing the four springs on the depthmeter contacts. Grr!

Hope so. It'll be a challenge but I want to stretch myself. We'll see.

Had an idea. For the depthmeter springs, how about I break open a spare springbar and use the spring cut into small sections?

U could always try, the spring I the spring bar is the fix for a few things. Like underneath the click ball on my 7002. I actually didn't need one, I did replace the click ball with a ball point pen tip
