Withdrawn, I'm keeping it.
Full disclosure: I built this watch for myself, not to sell. It truly represents my last collaboration with Jonathan. But I wanted to support our forum and to give other people an opportunity to pick up something to remember Jonathan by. Jonathan's attention to detail was amazing, and his refinishing work superlative. There will not be any more new Jonathan mods ever. He tended to go a little wilder with his mods. I'm more conservative, and prefer more stealth mods, but I did my best to build something he would have been proud of. I haven't worn this once. I just finished building it.
This is a new-built mod, made completely out of parts that I bought from Jonathan's estate.

This is a new-built mod, made completely out of parts that I bought from Jonathan's estate.
- Original 6309-704x case, refinished by Jonathan
- Original rotating ring
- Original Seiko chapter ring
- NOS crystal retaining ring, genuine Seiko out of the packet
- Yobokies insert, hour & minute hands
- Original 7548 sweep hand
- Fully serviced and original 7548 movement
- Original 7548-7000 dial with original lume
- All new seals
- Custom sterilized caseback, spun sterile leaving only the tsunami
- Brand-new DAL1BP strap, genuine Seiko JDM
- Jonathan's EastTech 320W34GN00 crystal, made while he was still alive
- NOS crown
- NOS stem spring
- New battery
- Issues: Jonathan chose a case that had a dink on the face of the lower left lug, and after refinishing it's still there. Tiny, but FYI. Also the rotating ring as a divot in the edge at :44.
The case is fantastic. Jonathan did the work but never built anything with it. It came to me totally stripped. It shows his amazing quality of work, with beautiful sides, knife-sharp case lines. Caseback is unusual in that he spun it with a curve to the edge, and the tsunami stands a little more proud than he'd normally do. Usually he'd spin them off flat with a lower profile to the edge of the tsunami. This has a nice curved drop-off. This is a complete piece, and with the exception of the strap, all of these items came from Jonathan's estate.
