Hello folks!
I saw a few vintage Seikos I wanted at a popular auction site, from a reputable seller, but his BuyItNow prices were a little high.
And the watches had been up for sale for for a couple of "cycles" where the auction ended and they were relisted, usually at a slightly lower price.
I wondered if I offered the seller a "package deal" if I could get them all, and at a discount. :-O I made a polite and reasonable offer, and it was accepted!!! :-D And I saved even more on shipping!! Woohoo!
Here is one of the more beautiful sights in WISdom, the big EMS bag from Japan! ;-)

A very tidy bundle was found inside the bag.

Inside of which were three more very tidy bundles! Very fastidious. I'll start with the top one...

Hmm, it's a watch box, a Seiko watch box, but of a type I have never seen.

I must say, this seller does an excellent job packing his watches! And this watch box is cute, I wonder if it is vintage as well.

Here is the first vintage Seiko, an early King Seiko made in Kameido. Let's take a closer look.

Oops, oh well, here is an over-exposed closer look. :-/
It is a 1968 4402-8000 King Seiko Calendar model, with the 25 jewel, 4402A hand-wind and hacking movement, running at 18000 bph.

Here is the crown view. SWeet! :-D (Do you see what I did there?)

And the other side view.

And here is the main reason I bought it, the extra cool King Seiko medallion!! :-D Woohoo! Crazy man!

Okay, lets move on to the second package. Don't cheat and read that label!! ;-)

And I get a little plastic organizer box, as a free bonus!

Looks like a watch to me! Let's get closer...

This one is a 1969 Seiko Lord Matic Weekdater, model 5606-7030, with a 25 Jewel automatic, hand-wind-able, hacking movement, running at 21600 bph.
A cool model in it's own right, but the main reason I bought this one is the very interesting dial texture, sort of a linen wasp's nest! Wild!

Here is the boring crown. :-)

The "other" side.

And finally, the all-important vintage watch case-back shot.

Come on!! Let's keep the momentum going! On to the third box. (Ignore that label!)

Another free handy organizer!

And another watch-like object, too! Let's go in for the kill...

A NOT overexposed group shot! :-D These are three really fine watches, a early King Seiko with the coolest case-back medallion, a nifty Lord Matic with an amazing dial texture and a Hi-beat King Seiko 56 in fantastic condition.
