Hello folks,
I was tied up this week, and got behind on posting some wrist shots. I have been wearing members of another "package deal" of older Seiko dress watches, so I am catching up with this post.
**** Wednesday 22-Oct-2014 ************************
I wore the first one of the new package on Wednesday, a 1972 Seiko Lord Matic Special Weekdater, model 5206-6120, with a 23 jewel automatic, hacking movement, zooming along at 28800 bph.
I liked this watch for it's black-striped baton markers and hands, and it's shimmery gray dial. Okay and it's sharp, unusual bracelet! :-D

On Thursday, I decided to wear a 1969 Seikomatic-P Weekdater, model 5106-7030*, with a 33 jewel automatic, hacking, movement running at 19800 bph. (*
It is in good shape overall with (in my opinion) a very interesting tree-bark texture to the dial. Do you think it's cool?
The crystal has a few scratches and some kind of white deposit on the underside, but I'll make it a project to get those issues resolved!

I bought this one for it's very clean condition, even if the dial texture is not as exciting as some of my other ones, and it didn't come with a cool bracelet. :-D

On a relaxing Saturday morning, I am bumming around with a white sweatshirt and my 1968 Seiko Lord Matic Calendar, model 5605-7020, with a 25 jewel, automatic, hacking movement, running at 21600 bph.
Not a bad movement for the late 1960's. a "C" grade version of the 56xx series, which were considered fairly high-end for their day, but it does have the dreaded plastic clutch for the quickset date.
A nice textured dial, with black baton hour markers and interesting hands (in a funky way), but to be honest, I bought this one for (in my opinion) the wicked cool bracelet!! :-D I love how the sides are not connected, which gives the bracelet some unusual "action" when it flexes.

Well, I hope you liked those wrist-shots, I like taking them and "documenting" my obsession, and I try hard to make them good images that you will enjoy looking at.
