SKX009 for $124 HERE, seems like a pretty good deal.

That is very reasonable. I think I paid about that for my used 007.

Bought one yesterday. Going to steal the bracelet, mount it on an appropriate dive strap and give it to my brother for his birthday. His first real watch. Hoping I can either a) get him bit with the bug we all have or b) cherish it as a gift from big brother that will never leave his wrist.

If it was a black dial, I'd be all over it.

Yeah, if it was the 007 I would buy one at that price. 42mm is still too big for me but I could give it as a gift or something.

Thanks for the link. I didn't need one, but bought one anyway cause that price was just too good.

From a collecting standpoint is there a good reason to try and find a Japanese 009 instead?

If it was a 007 I would have been all over it.
I paid the same back in 2005 for a 007 on bracelet.
