Or did I do OK ? I bought this job lot on a whim. Just me and one other bidder, and the price was very reasonable. The 7T32 was described as just needing a battery. It did and is running fine. What he forgot to mention was the missing end link (all the pictures hid this nicely) . So, advice as to where to get one would be gratefully received. (EDIT: the end link has the No. 4148ZE on it) If not, I'll have to find a chunky strap. The other one is a Chronos, and the seller said he knew nothing about it. I put a battery in and it tried to fire up but the battery was an old one and I think no good so I've ordered a couple of new ones. It has an English/Kanji day wheel and the dial looks good. It needs a new crystal, but if it works I can look at that later. The lady's auto is a Dodo, and a waste of time. I think I did OK, we shall see.

Keep an eye open on Ramon's auctions(thewatchcollector); he always has a good selection of vintage Seiko bracelets.

It's got a standard Seiko style clasp but otherwise looks right? I have the bracelet and both ends if any good to you.

Similar but different (not to hijack):
On evilbay yesterday I searched "Grand Seiko" and it returned a rather pedestrian 7S26. In the body of the description it said "Grand Seiko Hi-Beat" So I e-mail the seller to ask "why are you describing it as Grand Seiko Hi Beat" and his answer: "Got you to look at it, didn't I" ?
Really.

Really. "Keyword spamming". It's the oldest Ebay trick in the book.
