I'll follow Carl's lead, new pic of my 6306 from April '79. Those specks of lint under the crystal, are driving me nuts...gonna have to remedy that today.

My new '86 Golden Tuna, been on my wrist all week. Noodles the cat likes it too. From where I'm sitting that's not a 1986 Golden 7549.... More like a 2006 7C46 golden reissue, the gold hand set, smooth ceramic shroud and gold enlayed hour markers are a dead give away. Very Nice piece!

New arrival, [ Thanks Rene ] sorry about the horrible night time pic I've found a seller on the bay that has OEM bracelets , now I've just got to psyche myself up to fork the £50 out The mesh looks a bit weedy IMO

Been trying to date it since I got it All I had to go on was the serial that starts with a 6D and it is a 7c46-7009. I did a bit of google research and could only come up with 86 as they had discontinued in 95 I think. I had discounted it as a re-issue as none of the re-issues I saw had a matching dial and I did find a 86 with an identical (to the untrained eye) dial. However I didn't notice the difference in shrouds. Well spotted and cheers for the info much appreciated.

I've done a bit more research and I think you are wrong, my watch is definitely a 1986 model. In fact I'd say I'm 100% certain this is the case. Not that it matters as it is a great watch regardless but I can show you how I came to this conclusion if you are interested.
