He also emailed a PM a few people and threatened them personally for comments they made (libel). What a sad individual. With filthy fingers. A hack artist. Sorry, "artist". He shows an amazing lack of self-awareness. I'm constantly working to keep my person / shop / bench clean, to do the best work possible, to be alert for anything out of place, and to assume that whatever I'm doing, I could be doing it better and thus to always be pushing to improve. To do such sloppy horrible work, and to show people what sloppy horrible work you're doing... wow. An embarrassment. And what's with "lubricating the pushers"? He's dipping the entire pusher assembly in something he calls nasty, and it letting them drip-dry? With what looks like the original seals in place? I don't understand any of that. Why leave the old seals in place and then dip the whole button? Why do that?

His "nasty" stuff looks like some crap brake fluid or hydraulic oil. It will swell the gaskets and MAKE THEM JSUT LIEK NEWE AGAINE! What a sad individual. With filthy fingers. A hack artist. Definitely looks like my mechanic's hands. I can see my watch coming home looking like the inside of my engine bay.

To be clear, I think it's important that everyone, particularly newcomers (and they're growing), to this crazy hobby know the difference between a faithful restoration and a full polish/beadblast job. Also, how that affects the value and longevity of the piece. So by putting this here, I'm simply demonstrating what is in my opinion, and probably the opinion of most of the forum members that this work is poor value for money. Maybe we need to do a guide on that. It can be a real minefield! Ok I'll say it, his work is crap and he can come on down under if he likes, it won't change the fact that the work is crap

I would rather take my watch to be serviced on the sidewalks of Mumbai.
