That's something! Did you noticed the sub register hand stuck under his finger nail? Wonder if he lost it and had to find a replacement? They used to sell on ebay and always asked crazy prices.

That's scary. Putting some finger cots on, washing his hands and cutting his nails wouldn't go amiss either.

Bloody Nora, My mum can do better than that. I recon judging by the state of his tools and fingers he is pretty good with motorbikes:-)
I would be sooooo disappointed if one of my watches was butchered like that.

I get the fingers, sometimes they just get stained for a few days, but if his tools look like that he's doing it wrong on the motorbikes too... |

Just a word of caution. This guy is easily provoked and is not above running a cease and desist to a hosting provider if you use his pictures. Happened not too long ago over at the Military Watch Resource. He's a real piece of work. Can't deal with criticism very well  Don't want to argue the legalities, just letting you all know what lengths he will go to. |

To be clear, I think it's important that everyone, particularly newcomers (and they're growing), to this crazy hobby know the difference between a faithful restoration and a full polish/beadblast job. Also, how that affects the value and longevity of the piece. So by putting this here, I'm simply demonstrating what is in my opinion, and probably the opinion of most of the forum members that this work is poor value for money. Maybe we need to do a guide on that. It can be a real minefield!

I think that you were right in doing so, just wanted everybody to know what a pain in the behind this guy can be when he's riled up. Linking to his pics is fine, I think (if I remember correctly) that he threatened a take down notice because someone copied his pics and posted them. He also emailed a PM a few people and threatened them personally for comments they made (libel).
