Since I posted a JDM 6139-601x on another thread, I figured I'd show off a few more 6139s that I'd gotten years back, specifically models that are NOT the most frequently found.
1. 6139-7020
I got it for US$147.50 + US$10 shipping in late 2002.
2. 6139-7080
Got it from Canada for US$125 in early 2001. I'm not sure if shipping was included or not, my notebook doesn't say, but I know I have the data in other records that are tucked away.
NOTE:
Last time I hit the Save Changes button, it wiped out a lot of text, so I'm having to go back and add it all back. This laptop keyboard/mousepad is a real piece of sh*t.
OK, now that it is back to where it should be, we continue with:
3. 6139-8002, from Australia!!
Unusual hands!! I call them "hypodermic needle" hands especially on the minute!!
And the sales data: from somewhere around Sept. 2001: US$71, with shipping it was a total of US$76.65!! The seller originally balked at the final auction price & claimed an "anomaly" in the auction & wanted to check it out w/ eBay. I complained back & he did sell it to me as the auction winner a short time later.
5. 6139-8029, well maybe not so unusual, the "Scroll cased" type:

I'll go find the sales data now, but I know it was a bargain!!
OK, here it is! Early 2001, Feb. 14 as a matter of fact!! I paid all of US$53 and US$5.95 shipping!!
Finally,
6. 6139-7070
I was finally able to correct the second hand here in the Philippines. My favorite watch tech had a nice white one of correct style about 5 years ago. However, this was a good price and I had seen the same style second hand on a 701x chronostop in a Japanese reference site! I figured (back then, not knowing too much) it could indeed be a "correct" Seiko second hand style for some other model, but I don't really think so now! LOL!
Interestingly enough, this one came on a Ricoh bracelet!!
And, the sales data now: Got it in June or July 2001, and paid US$55.01 + US$5 shipping!
It's not perfect, the tach ring has a rather blurry "TACHYMETER" text as if someone tried to clean it with solvent and blurred the paint. I don't think it's an aftermarket, as such things were not really available back then.
