The hybrid bezel (for lack of a better word) is a pinch off-putting for me - other than that I dig it. Thanks for the heads up!

Nice looking but its at the point where ALL the Seiko Divers are starting to look the same to me! Drilled lugs....hand wind capability....hacking....raised indices...step up bezel....certainly not the "normal" fare.

Now that is pretty cool. It almost appears that Seiko are modding their own watches!

I might buy one if it had a reasonable bezel. That one is one of the ugliest I've ever seen.

Decent looking watch but not a fan of the bezel.

Nice but that bezel is interesting to say the least.

The real life wrist shot makes it look 10X better than the drawing but the shrouded bezel has to go.
I'm sure since it is a Prospex model it is now 3 times the price than if it wasn't because of the logo.

I actually quite like that - which is unusual for me with modern divers - however that bezel is simply awful - what were they thinking! Any chance of modding one with another bezel? If so this could be a great looking watch!

$350 for a Seiko?
You can buy a Swiss watch for that kind of money

I like bits of it. The case, the H&M hands, the hand-winding, the hacking. The dial is OK but I'd like to see it in person. The bezel / rotating ring... not a fan. I'd like to see one in person.

Hi. Are you sure the Swiss watch at $350 is really Swiss. Cheers Phil

There is another version of the "X" line divers set to drop later this month. Looks like a 6R15 powered Monster clone. They are $500-ish on Ebay pre-sale auctions right now. I think we may want to change the name of the "Monster" to the "Bunny", since it has had so many offspring over the past decade or so!

Although Seiko did actually already make a 6R15 powered watch that used a Monster case and bezel... The "Trek Monster." (Image borrowed) But I like the ProspEX version that you just showed a lot more. I think $500 might be a little on the steep side though...
