Maybe it's the ALL CAPS that did it?

If you didn't know any better you'd think what a nice looking watch. Funny I was warning Florian about that ber11566 guy earlier in a email I sent to him. I've watched him over the past few months. The scary thing is ber11566 is getting better at putting watches that sort of look correct together. I'd personally never buy a watch from that guy even if it came with boxes, booklets and paperwork.

That's a head scratcher, all right. I know! I am all for people paying whatever they want to pay for a watch, and for sellers asking what they want when listing one. As a buyer, I would not pay more than about $90 for that watch. I don't think the bracelet is correct (please correct me if I am wrong) and 9 times out of 10 the inner rotating ring is faded out - not nearly as bad as this one, but they are indeed faded. The correct original bracelet and non-faded inner rotating ring are big selling points with me when it comes to a 6139-600x. His listing is really great in my opinion. He claims this watch has been serviced and offers the 14 day return - if not as described. He does a great job describing it, so to return it there has to be some funky stuff going on under the hood! As I wrote earlier, I have 3 or 4 "clunkers" in my parts drawer that I'd sell in a second if I knew I could get $300+ each. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, I guess. Amazing. D.

There's a 6139 selling on TOF right now for $450 with extras and other than everything being" wonderfully aged" I think the one in the opening post is actually a better bargain.

I was just looking through my projects drawers for something else, and saw several complete watches about like this, but a bit nicer. I dismissed them as not worth selling, because who'd buy them? I could make a half-dozen more, easily.

If the ones you put together are even remotely close to the one in your avatar, I would be in the market for one. (Have a black and a blue, need a yellow one badly.)
