Hi all. Has anyone ever used Mountapa_Merchant's (on eBay) reproduction 6138/6139 pushers? Are they any good?
I've gotta find a replacement for a bent 6138 0030 pusher and he seems to have what I need - the 0030 pusher is a little longer than the run of the mill seiko chrono pusher.
Of course, any suggestions re a source of NOS pushers wouldn't go astray either :-)

I used a set ages ago and they worked fine. Ed does a good job on these. I assume they haven't changed since. Hi all. I haven't used his pushers but I have done business with him in the past and been very happy. He's a good person to deal with in my opinion.

Seikosis on ebay also sells parts. If you're talking about the "piston" pushers for the 6138 UFO, I'd recommend him as I have a set on mine and Spencer said they are very good replacements.
He's also a member here and may give a "Wrist Sushi" discount.

The look similar to the regular pushers but are longer with a shorter button. The 0030 is on the left and the more common pusher is in the right in this picture.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Stefan had correct NOS ones and Mountapo_merchant confirmed the correct dimensions of his replicas. However, I made a little jig to hold the bent pusher and successfully straightened it. The addition of a new gasket and a little silicon and it's working fine now. Crisis averted :-)

You can pretty much still use them heavily bent unless they snap. There's no precision in the part as it only pushes on the paddle. I use a pin vise to straighten them. My technique was to drill a suitably sized hole in a block of wood, push the button into the hole (a tight fit), cut away the old gasket and work on the two places where it was bent with a small set of pliers. The way the pusher was held with pointy end up made fitting the new gasket a breeze too.
Btw Hal0eight, I'm trying to buy 3 more sets of your gaskets on eBay right now, but their system has crashed halfway through the transaction. Not sure it went through or not but I'll be looking forward to doing a couple more of my chronos. Even if they're not sticking, the improved smoothness of the new gaskets feels nice.

I haven't had anything flick up. Just had a look and it's completely b0rked right now. Just flick me a PM with how many you want and I'll work out a price etc for you.
